The Lions of Hillsboro try to help others in the community.  As the motto of  Lions is "WE SERVE", our members try to adhere to  the motto within our community, our state, our nation and even internationally. This is done in many ways throughout the year. Assistance is provided by donations of funds, for eye examinations, purchase of eyeglasses, hearing exams  and hearing aids purchases.

  Our club donated $6000 towards scholarships for high school students and recent graduates.

We currently donate $100 each  month  to the local food pantry, in the winter time we donate $200..

There are currently 46 members in the club.

We are known as the  "Home of the Active Lions"
