We have added another page to this site: Recent Club Activities.  Stay up-to-date as to what the club is currently doing.

 The Lions of Hillsboro try to help others in the community.  As the motto of Lions is "WE SERVE", our members try to adhere to the motto within our community, our state, our nation and even internationally. This is done in many ways throughout the year.

We are now providing Vision and Hearing Screenings to four schools. 

Since 2006, when records were started to be kept, we have provided over 20,000 books to the grade schools under the Reading is FUNdamental program which we have conducted for over 35 years. For many years we provided the third graders with dictionaries and now we give them a thesaurus.

We recycle eyeglasses and hearing aids and donate can tops to the Shriners.

There are currently 17 members in the club.

We are known as the "Home of the Active Lions"

Our club will complete 70 years since its charter on March 31,2023.
