FREE MEDICAL CHECKUP CAMP AND  DISTRIBUTION OF MEDICINES TO FLOOD VICTIMS ,BOROMBAI HAJO

Our Club conducted a free medical Check and free distribution of medicines to Flood Victims and residents of a small Village at Borombai ,Hajo ,Assam about 40 kms from Guwahati. Near about 400 patients were attended and given medicines.Special thanks to our club members Lion Manoj Das and Local people for making the arrangments .

OUR CLUB DISTRIBUTED FREE BOOKS AND ERASER ETC TO THE STUDENTS OF HARIJAN VIDYALAYA AT CHABIPOOL ATHGAON .NEAR ABOUT 35 STUDENTS WERE BENEFITED FROM IT.

BLOOD DONATION CAMP 15th AUG 2012

MEMBERS OF OUR CLUB GAVE BLOOD AT THE BLOOD DONATION CAMP CONDUTED BY OUR CLUB  AT MARWARI HOSTPITAL AND RESEARCH CENTRE ATHGAON GUWAHATI ASSAM .

TEACHERS DAY CELEBRATION 5TH SEPT 2012

Our Club Members celebrated Teachers day with the teachers and students of Rastriya Siksha Sadan,Sarabhati,Guwahati .The members felicitated the teachers of the school and distributed sweets and crayons amongst the students.6 Teachers and near about 200 students were benefited.

PEACE POSTER CONTEST 2012-2013"IMAGINE PEACE"

Our club conducted a peace poster contest at Shree Digambar Jain Vidyalaya Guwahati ,in whcih 47 students partcipated .Three best posters were selected and would be forwarded to the District .

 FREE DENTAL CHECK UP CAMP  12.09.2012

 A free dental check up camp was organised for the students of play pen school rehabari to examine the students dental care and advised them as to how to maintain oral hygiene.In total 96 students were benefitted form the camp. 

ELECTRIFICATION OF SCHOOL CLASSROOMS 12.10.212

Our club prvided complete electrical fittings and wiring for two classrooms at Rastriya Siksha Sadan Sarabbhati,Guwahati.

18.11.2012-FREE MEDICAL CHECK UP CAMP AT KHANAPARA

A Free Medical Check up camp was organised at Khapara Guwahati where near about 400 patients were benefitted .The club also distributed free medicines.

26.01.2013 REPBUBLIC DAY

The club celebrated the republic day with students of Rastriya Siksha Sadan and distributed sweets and biscuits.

27.01.2013 DONATION COUPON DRAW

For fund rasing a donation coupon draw was held and the fund collected will be used for various club activities.

24.02.2013:LIBRARY FOR PRISONERS AT GOALPARA DISTRICT JAIL-ASSAM--UNDER READING ACTION PROGRAM.

Our club received a request from Superintendent of Jail Goalpara-Assam-for a library at the jail for the prisoners  through the Additional District Judge of Goalpara. Acting on the request our club came forward and provided the District Jail Library with different books on religion ,great leaders of India & World ,in local language as well as Hindi and English, under the READING ACTION PROGRAM of Lions International. The club also provided the library  two books shelf’s for the books. Moreover the club has also assured the Jail authorities that Reading tables and light fans for the library will also be provided by the club.The jail authorities were very appreciative of the club efforts and hope that these books will show some light to the prisoners there. Moreover near about 400 prisoners will be benefited  from this library.

DISTRCIT CONFERENCE MILAN 2013 ON 02ND AND 03RD MARCH 2013,TINSUKIA.

  Our club members attended the District 322-D Conference  MIlan 2013 ,   at Tisukia. Total 10 Lions and 2 Lioness Members attended the conference.
