DURING JULY 2023, LIONS CLUB PRESIDENT MARTHA BENNETT AND DG LINDA RUMSEY WERE INVOLVED IN THE SUPPORT OF THE SC LIONS SPONSORED INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS BY INTRODUCING THEM TO THE GREER SOUP KITCHEN AND THE VOLUNTEER SUPPORT TO THE HOMELESS AND HUNGRY OF OUR COMMUNITY.
ENVIRONMENTAL AWARENESS/RECYCLING
IN JULY 2022, A TEAM OF OUR LION MEMBERS VOLUNTEERED FOR A TRASH PICK UP ALONG SEVERAL STREETS WITHIN THE GREER COMMUNITY.
CHILDHOOD CANCER AWARENESS
SERVICE PROJECT
Along with a generous donation from Daily Bread Ministries(Soup Kitchen), Spinx Gas Stations, and Lion members, we presented $2000.00 in gift cards and cash for a family whose young daughter is fighting cancer.

The ladies of our Greer Club sponsored a baby shower for the Piedmont Women’s Center. The Center was very low in supplies for their baby buddle gifts that are provided for each client that has decided to keep their baby instead of the choice of abortion. Other local clubs were invited, and the Greer Centennial Club participated.
