As The Greater Butts County Lions Club celebrates its two-year anniversary, we look back on our accomplishments.

-Voted best non-profit in Butts County

-Hosted District 18-E Cabinet meeting

-Donations to DFACS at Christmas; Shoes for God's Children

-Bikes for kids

-Participated in Jackson Christmas Parade

-Chamber of Commerce award for best non-profit group in Butts County

-Assisted with River of Life which make repairs to homes

-Christmas luncheon for caregivers at Westbury Nursing Home

-Jackson Alive Family Festival fundraiser

-Aided several families who lost homes in fires and April 2011 tornados

-Assisted with and participated in Homecoming Parade for the 48th Brigade - donated $1520.05 to FRG (Family Readiness Group)
