CURRENT NEW ACIVITY

On August 27th we began: Disc Golf Cleanup, the Graeagle Lions are dedicated to helping the city of Portola by cleaning up the Riverwalk in Portola to assist the development of a world class disc glf faciity. This is a joint project of the city,the Portola Disc Club and visionary Tim Rhode. This will continue on August 19th.See pictures on our photo page

PAST ACTIVITIES

We had a Frazier Falls clean up on May 18th  Roger Henderson is the chairman. we did repair benchs, paint railings and clean up trail. work will begin at 8am. lunch will be provided. thanks to Lynn Desjardin and Linda Cooley. and our cook, John ODonnell,

On May 29rh we cleaned up our patch of highway 89. We will begin at 10am, meet at the Clio Bridge. Material will be provided.

latest project June 2021 was clean up and repairs at Frazier Falls. 11 graeagle Lions participated.'

Lynn Desjarden provided food,John Odonnell cooked hot dogs, Linda Cooley provided all photos,

John Petrini,Craig and Sandy Simmons, Mercedes Henderson, Tom Cooley,John Donn, Streve Hagan, Jeff Zeliff, were among the workers. Roger Henderon headed  up the project. Another year of community service by the Graeagle Lions Club

UPCOMING PLANS

We have a new event at Frazier Falls. We are continuing to keep Frazier Falls updated and maintenance has a need in replacing the Capstones. This is a continuation of our cleanup and maintenance of this year. This will be a membership drive as well as a barbeque lunch for all who help in this project along with any visitors and invitees we can persuade to see what the Graeagle Lions is all about. We will be inviting our newspaper contact from Plumas News to come to lunch and photograph our new Capstones. This event will take place at a later date.
