BEGINNING WITH YOUR MAY MAILOUT RENEWAL NOTICE FOR THE 2022-2023 SERVICE YEAR, THE COST OF DISPLAYING YOUR FLAG WILL NOW GO UP FROM $30 TO $35.  AFTER SO MANY YEARS AT THIS PRICE, WE HAVE HAD TO RAISE OUR RATE DUE TO INCREASED FUEL AND SUPPLIES PRICES.  THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONTINUED SUPPORT OF THE GOLIAD LIONS CLUB AND OUR AMERICAN FLAG PROJECT.

American Flag Project

For many years now, the Goliad Lions Club has participated in the American Flag Project.

We conduct this project so that not only the Goliad residents, but travelers whom go through Goliad witness the beauty and splendor of the American flag proudly displayed for all to see.

For a nominal fee each year, Lions Club members, along with help from Boy Scout Troop 60 and local 4-H clubs help put out flags on the following FEDERAL holidays:

• President's Day
• Memorial Day
• Flag Day
• Independence Day (Fourth of July)
• Labor Day
• Veterans Day

All of our flags are set up and taken down on each above listed holidays.  All that is required of you is to show our Lions Club member where to place the receiver either in your front yard or at your business.
