GIDDINGS NEW HORIZONS LIONS CLUB

Chartered:  August 5, 1987

As the first women's Lions Club to be chartered in the State of Texas and the second women's Lions Club in Lions Clubs International, we were sponsored by the Giddings Noon Lions Club with 37 charter members.

The organizers were DG Ralph Henry, Lions Clarence Wolfshohl and Joe Franks.  Lion Janis Wolfshohl served as our Charter President.

In 2012 we celebrated 25 Years of Service - to our Community, District 2-S5, MD-2 Texas and Lions Clubs International.
