First Friday

On the first Friday of each month, the Geronimo Lions Club hosts our

First Friday Feast

at the Red Barn located on Cordova Road in Seguin. *Please view the Calendar section for the date of our next First Friday Feast. We choose a non-profit organization to receive the proceeds from our event and we also provide local talent to entertain our guests.

Our meal is a grilled rib-eye steak or fried cod dinner with our award-winning salad, "goodie" bread, baked potato, dessert, and a cold beverage all for only $20! We start serving at 5:30 pm and go until 7:30 pm (until we sell out). Plates are available to go as well so no excuses! See you at the Red Barn!

Please make plans to join us and help support our community. "You're gonna like the way we cook."

The Geronimo Lions Club would like to thank everyone that has come out to the Red Barn over the years and has helped make our First Friday Feast such a huge success. The Lions Motto is "We Serve" and we certainly hope that our First Friday Feast has helped us serve the community in more ways than one. It is an awesome sight to look out of the kitchen window at the Red Barn and see all of you sharing in the fun, food, and fellowship. We are also proud to be able to support so many organizations with your continued generosity.

June - Seguin Heritge Museum

The Geronimo Lions Club First Friday Feast Steak and Fish Fry had as the beneficiary Seguin Heritage Museum. Pictured with John Gesick is Geronimo Lion Mary Reiley. Visit next month on July 7th at the "Big Red Barn" from 5:30 to 8 p.m.

May - Shriners Childrens Hospital

Thank you to everyone that made it out to the Red Barn May 5th to enjoy the Geronimo Lions First Friday Feast benefiting the Shriners Childrens Hospital with some awesome music from the Shriner Band. We are grateful for all of the wonderful people that participate in our First Friday Feast, thank you.

April - Seguin Little League

March - Hope Hospice

February - Guadalupe County Childrens Welfare Board

Geronimo Lions Club had a successful First Friday Feast and Fish Fry. Our Beneficiary was the Guadalupe County Child Welfare Board. This organization has many volunteers! Pictured with the Board are Vicki Bierstedt and Tracy Bittner Geronimo Lions Club members.

January - South Texas Pregnancy Care Center and the Seguin Area Lions Foundations KidSight Program

Geronimo Lions Club had two beneficiaries at the January First Friday Feast. We appreciate all the volunteers that came out to help.

Associate Geronimo Lions Club member Becky Breitenkamp is pictured presenting the South Texas Pregnancy Care Center and also the Lions Kids Sight checks for $500.00 each.

The Geronimo Lions Club meets every first and third Thursday morning at 6:30 at the Agricultural Heritage Center (Big Red Barn) corner of Cordova Rd. and Hwy. 123.

November - Christian Cupboard

Geronimo Lions Club First Friday Feast and Fish Fry for the month of November had as the beneficiary the Christian Cupboard.

Receiving our donation from David Reiley, Geronimo Lions Club President is Regina Lee and with her is Rusty and Sandy Clopton. There will not be a First Friday Feast and Fish Fry in December so see you in January!

October - Guadalupe County Childrens Advocacy Center

September - Friends of the Library

Our Geronimo Lions Club First Friday Feast was another success even the rain storm didn't dampen attendance! The beneficiary for the month was the Friends of the Library. August - Pack the Bus

Our August First Friday Feast was awesome, thank you to everyone that came out to help "Pack the Bus." It was outstanding year for Pack the Bus, the generosity of the citizens of Seguin and Geronimo is absolutely incredible, thank you! July - SS American Memorial

Geronimo Lions Club had an awesome First Friday Feast in July. Our beneficiary was S.S. American Memorial in Seguin. Accepting the check from Geronimo Lions Club President David Reiley is Craig Russell. We appreciate their work and the volunteers.

June - Daughters of the Republic of Texas

Geronimo Lions Club had a successful First Friday Feast. The beneficiary was the Daughters of the Republic of Texas. Pictured with Martin Mueck, Geronimo Lions Club President are many wonderful "daughters" that volunteered.

Our next First Friday Feast will be on July 1st, 2016. We serve your choice of hand cut ribeye steak or fried fish, baked potato, salad, goodie bread, desert, tea or water,complementary beer or wine, all for $15.00.

Leadership Seguin Supporting the Seguin Fire Department Museum

The Geronimo Lions Club had a successful April First Friday Feast. The beneficiary for the month of April was Leadership Seguin and they are supporting the Seguin Fire Museum. Martin Mueck, Geronimo Lions Club President, is surrounded by the wonderful volunteers who helped serve our awesome guest.

Thank you to everyone that came out to the Red Barn and joined us for a great evening, it was wonderful seeing everyone enjoying the food and entertainment. We would also like to thank Chuck Reininger for his continued support of the Geronimo Lions Club.

The Heritage Museum of Seguin

The Silver Center

Christian Cupboard

Geronimo Lions Club First Friday Feast beneficiary for the month of November was the Christian Cupboard. Martin Mueck is presenting the check to just a few of the volunteers. Thanks for so many volunteers, we couldn’t do without them. This is the time of year the Christian Cupboard can use your donations too!

Shriners Children's Hospital

Shriners Children's Hospital was the October beneficiary of the GLC First Friday Feast.

Clifton Jansky did an awesome job entertaining the GLC First Friday Feast crowd in October!

Guadalupe County Childrens Advocacy Building Fund was the September Beneficiary.

Pack the Bus from the Seguin and Navarro Schools benefited from the August GLC First Friday Feast.
