Georgetown Lions Club--operating continuously since 1923 and still going and growing strong. We are a vital club of men and women of all ages, from 20-90, loving, serving, and enjoying Georgetown, TX. If you're interested in finding out how you can make a difference in the community with our club, join us for lunch at the Community Room of the Lonestar Circle of Care on Williams Drive at 11:45 a.m., 2nd and 4th Wednesdays to meet the members and learn more about our club and Lions.
We provide a wide variety of services to the community, and in particular have adopted the following 7 as our "Signature Service Activities" (those that we are generally identified with in the community): 1) KidSight vision screening, 2) Boys and Girls Club, 3) Scholarships for GISD seniors, 4) Eyeglasses for kids through the school nurses' voucher program, 5) Texas Lions Camp for Special Needs Kids, 6) Collecting and Recycling used eyeglasses, 7) Christmas activities for residents at Wesleyan Home on Scenic Drive.
