Who are Fareham Lions?
Chartered in 1962 Fareham Lions are one of three Lions Clubs Serving the Borough of Fareham, Hampshire, England, the other two are Swanwick Lions and Crofton Lions, all three clubs follow the same objects and ethics as every other Lions Club in the world. Our main objective is to support and assist local charities and good causes. We have made, and continue to make, donations and offered support to all kinds of local charities, individuals and good causes as well as supporting the National and International Lions projects. We welcome requests from other local organisations who think we may be able to assist them in someway.
We now meet at The Broadlaw Community Centre in Fareham on the 2nd Monday of each month. As well as holding and getting involved with many club and inter-club social events, we arrange, assist and participate in a vast number of local fetes, fayres and activities. The best known probably being the Christmas Sleigh runs and Stubbington Fayre. The funds raised from these are then distributed to help many local, national and international good causes. We also get involved in helping and running many service events including our annual Paultons Park trip and Senior Citizens Easter party.
If you would like more information on joining our active and social organisation or think we can offer assistance to your own organisation or good cause then please see the contact page for more information.
