We Serve
The Falcon Heights–Lauderdale Lions Club serves the local community through the following ongoing projects:
- We support our local schools: we contribute to arts and athletics programs; we provide scholarships to local students; we buy dictionaries for 3rd grade students and thesauruses for 5th grade students; and we provide Lions Acts of Kindness grants to be used for needy students.
- We support the community: we clean Snelling Avenue twice a year; we purchase playground equipment; we contribute to rec programs.
- We support the needy: we contribute to local foodbanks; we serve meals at Loaves and Fishes.
- We support seniors: we contribute to the Roseville Area Senior Program; we purchased Wii systems for seniors to use.
- We support our local library: we made a $20,000 contribution for large print books and adaptive technology for the new Roseville Library.
