Our Primary Fund Raiser: We sell Christmas Trees. Yes we can always use help in this project.
Fairwood Lions, and what we Fund and other services we do:
1. Have Fun Helping others.
2. We donate to the Renton and Maple Valley Food Banks.
3. Sight and Hearing. We provide glasses and hearing aids to the poorest of the poor in our community.
4. Clothing Bank.
5. Clothing to Youth in Need in our community.
6. Road Clean up in our community.
7. Lions Giving Library. Books given to pre-school and K-6 students to promote literacy.
8. Boys and Girls State program via the American Legion.
9. We fund baseball teams at the CVAC youth program.
10. Health Screening Van.
11. Challenge Air program for disabled children. (Physically and mentally challenged.)
12. Wreaths Across America. Honoring American Veterans.
13. Donations to local/National and International Disasters.
14. Vine Maple Place. Transitional housing and taining for broken families with children.
15. Volunteering at the Maple Valley Food Bank.
16. We fund needs that arise in our community, country and world.
17. Free Wheel Chair program.
18. Canine Companions program.
We are looking for service minded people to help be a positive piece of our community
Military Veterans are granted a one year free membership in our club.
