SPACE WANTED

CASINO VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

We have a casino at the new Grand Villa Casino in Rogers Place Sept 10 & 11 (Mon-Tues) and need your support to fill day and overnight shifts.  No previous experience working a casino is necessary.  Training and support will be provided by an experienced licensed casino advisor before each shift. If you plan on volunteering for both days, please make sure you sign up for the same position.  Meal and refreshment will be provided.  If you can help us, please contact Lion Young at ysson38@hotmail.com or 780.433.7645.

The shifts are as follows (revised):

11 am - 7:30 pm banker

11:30 am - 7:45 pm cashier,

11:30 am - 7:30 pm chip runner  

7:15 pm - 3:45 am banker

7:15 pm - 3:30 am cashier

7:15 pm - 3:15 am chip runner

11 pm - 3:30 am - count room

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES 

We are actively seeking 2 executive members.  We meet once a month from Sept to June, and meeting is conducted in Korean.  Training for these positions will be provided.  If  you want to join, please contact Lion Young at ysson38@hotmail.com or 780.433.7645.  

Secretary (Volunteer)

  1. Attend all club meetings
  2. Organizing club meetings
  3. Keeping club records
  4. Receiving and responding to club correspondence
  5. Completing and filing all club reports with LCI
  6. Cooperating as an active member of the district governor’s advisory committee of the zone

Treasurer (Volunteer)

  1. Attending all club meetings
  2. Collect and distribute funds on behalf of the organization
  3. Keep a detailed list of all income and expenses for the club
  4. Banking and reconcile bank statements monthly
  5. Budget events and special occasions that the club will host.
  6. Prepare and file the annual tax return for the club.
