Calling new and potential members!

We are constatly looking out for new talent and woudl love to meet people from all walks of life who would like to join a friendly team who work together on projects big and small.

I have not got a lot of time!

People often percieve that they do not have enough time to give any time to help.  We are a friendly team who all have other commitments and totally understand that there may be times when people cannot help.  We always say that you can give as much or as little time as you can or want.  This means that if all you can do is help out with the sleigh once a year, we will welcome that.  If you want to help out more, we will aldo be grateful.

It is all work and no play!

Lions International may sound like all work and no play but we do know how to have fun.  This is not just the fun we have whilst working towards a common goal, we also have BBQs, Quiz Nights, Meals, and Dinner Dances where you can meet other Lions over a glass of wine or beer and share ideas or just have a chat!  It is not all work and no play.

Lions, is that like the Freemasons?

At East Elloe Lions, we are working hard to break down barriers.  A common perception is that you have to know someone to get into the team, this is not true and we would welcome anyone with enthusiasm or just someone who would like to make friends in the area of Holbeach, Long Sutton or the surrounding areas. 

Is it a group for just older men?

No way, .  We welcome anyone whatever age as long as they are over 20 years of age, they can be a full member.  We are also happy if someone younger would like to help out and as a fully CRB checked team, we are happy to guide these younger members to become the Lions of the future.
