Dresser Santa Day

Each year Santa pays Dresser a visit. We serve a pancake breakfast to kids of all ages. The whole community is welcome to attend. The kids are given a treat bag and can visit with Santa and have a photo taken.

Canoe Building  If you are interested in participating in this activity and learning the art of canoe building, please contact Rodger by email at thesawdustgarage@gmail.com .  The Dresser Lions have built and raffled a cedar strip canoe every year since 2011.  The canoe is raffled off each spring.  Proceeds are used to support the Wisconsin Lions Camp and give a blind, deaf, or cognitively disabled youth a summer camp experience.

$500 Scholarships to Osceola and St. Croix Falls students

Applications are available through the guidance councelors at each school.  Awards are based on the students' willingness to serve.  Students must demonstrate on the applications that they are service minded with a propensity to put others first. We give away two $500 scholarships to each school.

Meat Raffles (2nd and last Fridays @ 6:30PM)

Dresser Lions conduct meat raffles the 2nd and last Friday of each month at Ward's Bar in Dresser.

What is a meat raffle?  We sell packets of tickets at the beginning of the raffle. A winning number is selected and if you have the number you win a package of meat (usually a package of steaks, ribs, bacon, etc.) or a free drink token.  We do several rounds of this until the meat cooler is empty.  If you've never participated in a meat raffle, you should.  It's fun and supports the community.  Mark your calenar now!

Easter Day

The Easter Bunny visits the Dresser Community Center each year and brings thousands of eggs filled with stickers and candy. The Lions and PaperPie Learning donate a new book, pencils, and bookmarks to each child.

Football Raffle

Get in on the Dresser Lions Football Raffle craze.  For $20 you can enter and get a whole season of excitement.  We give away $50 to a lucky winner every week of the Monday Night Football season, as well as, $200 for the Superbowl.  Proceeds fund $500 scholarships to two graduating seniors in our community.  Look for these raffles around July. The winners are announced on the "Lions Club of Dresser, Wisconsin" Facebook each week.
