13th Annual Giant Book fair.
It was again a great success. There were over 35000 books available at the bookfair, and the comments of the people taking advantage of the low prices were very complimentary. A tip of the hat to Lion Nancy Rupnik who took over the running of the book fair and did a great job.
The next book fair is scheduled for October 21 and 22- 2017 and we will start collecting books again after January 15th-2017.  We thank all our supporters and donators  for their generosity.

Like to become a member?

New members are always welcome and if you would like to serve your community, and learn more about how we operate and work together, you are welcome to attend one of our meetings. Fees are very reasonable and affordable to all. Just call any one of the Lion members and let them know that you are interested to learn more about Lionism.

We are a growing club and one of the few service clubs in the area that is increasing the membership rolls, so we must be doing something that the community treasures..  If  you would like to know what the Lions are all about and our participation in the community, send us an E mail  at Makimbe@sympatico.ca and we will be pleased to forward you an information sheet.

Equipment  for personal use.

We have wheelchairs, canes, crutches, walkers and other such equipment that we loan out at no cost for use in the community, though a donation after use would be gratefully accepted. Please contact Lion GiGi O',Brien at 450-623-5226. She will arrange with the Lions in charge of the equipment. to look after the request.
