The semi-annual garage sale was held on May 11-2013, and it was a success even though the weather gods were against us. We would like to thank all the people that came to the sale,and who braved the elements All the proceeds will be used in serving the community.
 
 
 
Hot Dog Days:  June 13-14-15 and 16th
 
 
We will be holding our Hot Dog days  at IGA corner 8th avenue and Oka Road, We look forward to serving you  our famous Hot Dogs, with onions, mustard  and relish. We boil our weiners before we put them in the steamer so that you are always assured of a safe and delicious product.
 
 
 
 
.Annual Giant Book fair  Saturday and Sunday October 19 and 20th 2013. 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Location:Veterans Hall, 141 Grand Moulin, Deux-Montagnes. We are now accepting books for our Annual Giant Book fair.on October 19 and 20th. Books can be dropped off at the Maison des Citoyens , 202 Henri Dunant,Deux Montagnes. Please call Mr.Ouellet at 450-473-7450 to make sure that there will be someone there to accept your donation. If you are unable to deliver the books please call Lions Betty or Martin Hensen at 450-473-1932, or Dave Byers at 514-602-7054, and we will pick them up as soon as we can.  Please don't wait till the last moment  to call as we do classify all the books in many categories

 

 
 
 
 
 

 

 
 
 
 
 

 

New members are always welcome and if you would like to serve your community, and learn more about how we operate and work together, you are welcome to attend one of our meetings. Fees are very reasonable and affordable to all. Just call any one of the Lion members and let them know that you are interested to learn more about Lionism.
We have now 32 members and growing...  If  you would like to know exactly what our goals and our participation in the community are, send us an E mail  at Makimbe@sympatico.ca and we will be pleased to forward you an information sheet.

Equipment  for personal use.  

We have wheelchairs, canes, crutches, walkers and other such equipment that we loan out at no cost for use in the community, though a donation after use would be gratefully accepted. Please contact Lion Art Glover at 450-473-2503 who will arrange for the loan of the equipment.
