3rd graders at PDY received dictionaries from the Lions in September 2015

151 pair of used eyeglasses were collected in November 2015 at Liberty Center. Mrs. Echler (L) is shown with her class and Lion DeeAnn Shafer at the ice cream party for the winning class.

The eyeglasses collection contest at PDY was for two weeks ending on October 17, 2014. We had 144 pair of good used glasses collected. PDY Principal Ellen Bernal presents the used eyeglasses to Lions Past International Director Jerry Smith.

Winning top honors with 41 pair collected was Mrs. Durdel’s 2nd grade class. As the top class they were treated to an ice cream party on October 30th. Congratulations and thanks to all the children at PDY who helped serve others!

The Delta Lions Club presented new personal dictionaries to all of the PDY 3rd grade students on October 13, 2014.
