About the Danville Lions

The Danville Lions Club ( DLC) is made up of dedicated men and women who share a common goal- to make the world a better place to live through involvement in the community. It is one of the more than 40,000 Lions clubs in over 180 nations and geographic areas throughout the world governed by the International Association of Lions Clubs.

The Danville Lions Club was chartered in 1940 and has been a vital force of this community ever since. Members of the Danville Lions have a desire to be involved in community service. You probably already know them as your friends and neighbors. They organize events to raise funds for charities, bring awareness for the disabled and special members of the community, and participate in activities that help build a better future for our society

As Danville Lions, our goal is to raise funds and provide services to those in need, both locally and worldwide through fun and gratifying projects. Our diverse membership provides excellent networking opportunities.
