President of Country Club Lions Club, David Eichner said this club has made the most of what we have had available to provide support in the communities of North Highlands, Foothill Farms, Carmichael, North Sacramento, parts of the Arden Area and around the world. We are now the COUNTRY CLUB LIONS CLUB FOUNDATION
We have partnered with Sacramento County Child Protective Services (North Division) and The Twin Rivers School District School Nurses to provide needed services for children in need.
Country Club was charted on June 13, 1963 sponsored by Arden Lions Club.
We are honored to have had five (5) District Governors as members.
Past District Governor Richard Holden (1965-1966) (Deceased)
Past District Governor C. R. Cal Florence (1975-1976) (Deceased)
Past District Governor George Lenhart (1981-1982) (Current Director)
Past District Governor Jack Spitzer (1987-1988) (Deceased)
Past District Governor Walt Flanders (1993-1994) (Deceased)
The club history would make a great book on how to run a club. We have with stood hard times, but always stayed strong to provide leadership, support and funding to the community and throughout the world with the great members we have in this club. Our members help make District MD4-C-5 stronger.
We are always looking for NEW MEMBERS. As a Lion, you will make life better for others while enriching your own life in the process. As a Lion, YOU can make a difference.
