The Cornersville Lions Club was chartered in 1946.  Since the club's inception, the major fund raising event has been the annual Tennessee Walking Horse Show.  Funds raised from this activity allowed the purchase of eye screening instruments used to screen the eyes of our local school children, and help provide eye exams and eye glasses for individuals in need.

Each year, as a gift to the community, the Cornersville Lions sponsor the popular Halloween in the Park, which includes community wide trick-or-treating as well as contests, games and concessions.

The club sponsors the Cornersville Leo Club which gives 7th through 12th grade students from Cornersville School the opportunity to become involved in community service activities.

We also sponsor the following:
Cornersville Lions Annual Scholarship
Cornersville Youth Football, Baseball and Basketball
Tennessee School for the Blind
Vanderbilt Children's Eye Clinc
CHS Boy's State Delegates
Individual Benevolence

Lions Clubs International is the world's largest service club organization with more than 1.4 million members in approximately 46,000 clubs in more than 200 countries and geographical areas around the world.
