We held our 70th anniversary Charter night dinner on October 5th at the American Legion Hall. 

Special guests attending were Dr. Gary Farley, Colonial Heights Mayor Greg Kochuba, City Manager Doug Smith, representatives from Colonial Heights Fire and Police departments and Lions District Governor Ann Ragland and her husband, Hank Ragland.  Appreciation for service to Lions Club plaque was presented to Dr. Gary Farley on behalf of his and Dr. Lowell Gilbert's service to our club. 

Also Past District Governor, Joey McCaffery inducted a new member to our club, Everith Smith.  Lion Ralph Dunn presented an oral history of our club.  Everyone enjoyed the camaraderie and celebration of our club's 70th anniversary.
