CONTINUOUS PROJECTS

  1. Sponsorship of the Sewing School

We sponsor a sewing school as a vocational training program, this is the longest standing continuous project done by a club. In addition to updating the machinery on a need basis we pay for the services of a teacher who conducts the classes.

  1. Sponsorship of Leo Club

Our Lions Club is the proud sponsor of the longest standing Leo Club in the island, the Leo Club of Colombo (Host).

The Lions are closely involved in the activities through the Leo Advisor and other Lions who are keen on this program. The Leos are invited to all meetings and they are encouraged to share with the Lions their monthly progress.

The Leo Advisor or a Lion representative attended the meetings and projects of the Leos Club. This year relations were at a high level with the Leos actively participating in meetings and projects of the Lions Club.
