- Our Club donated $500.00 towards the Haiti Relief fund.
- We challenge students in the Cole Harbour area with public speaking contests and peace poster contests
- Over the years, we have sponsored 34 physically, mentally or socially challenged children on trips of a lifetime to Disney World, Florida, through "Dreams Take Flight"
- Each year we donate four scholarships to the high schools in our area
- We collect used eye glasses for people in other parts of the world
- Our members install Northwood Intouch Personal Emergency Response Systems
- We purchase Guide Dogs to assist Canadians who are physically impaired
- We provide assistance to local food banks, other charitable organizations and families in our community who are in need
- Last year we contributed to the purchase of equipment for the Nova Scotia Eye Clinic in Halifax
- Members collect used postage stamps for World Vision
- We provide Christmas hampers for needy families
- We assisted with the purchase of a feeding tube for a young child
- We donated funds to the Kids Help Phone and Walter Callow Wheelchair Fund
