Sunshine Project - celebration of 50 years of  community service - the project at the Howrah Recreation Centre (previously the Sunshine Home) is to install an interpretation panel detailing the history of the site (with an associated rose garden) and recognising he contribution made to the Sunshine Centre by the Lions Club of Clarence

Carols by Candelight - the Club has been involved in Carols by Candlelight in Clarence continuosly since 1989 and had previously been involved some years before that.  Club members now only distributed candles and songsheets at the annual event.

Congretational Church Cemetery - Rokeby - the cemetery is part of the Rokeby History Trail.  Club members cut the grass and clean-up the site on a regular basis

Australia Day Breakfast on the Boardwalk - for more than 25 years the Clarence Club has provided a breakfast on the Boardwalk at Bellerive on Australia Day.  The Aussie breakfast is provided (at a reasonable cost) to those celebrating Australia Day and culminates in the "official" presentations of Clarence's Australia Day Citizen of the Year, Young Citizen of the Year, Junior Citizen on the Year and Community Event of the Year.

Clarence Car Show - Planning is underway for the third Clarence Car Show on March 13th, 2017.
