It's Great to be a Lion.

If you are looking for an opportunity to help people in need and at the same time enjoy fellowship with a fine group of people, this the organization for you.  Remember, the organization "Lions Clubs" is not merely a social gesture; it is a pledge to be willing and anxious to do something for your community and its people. 

Membership Requirements:

Membership is by invitation ONLY with the approval of membership and board of Directors.

Wear lapel pin and name tag proudly.  It signifies that you are a member of the Worlds largest and most prestigious service organization.                         

Three musts: 

     1.  Attend club meeting regular club meetings.

     2.  Participate in all club activities.

     3.  Pay financial obligations in a timely manner.

 Club Meetings.

Monthly meetings are held on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month at 6:30 pm. (except July & Aug)

Club socials:  Christmas Party, in Dec. and Ladies Night/Charter night in February.

Conventions:  Fall Conference in Sept./Oct.  Governor"s Ball, State Convention in May and International Convention held in June/July.

Other meetings:  Club board meetings, as called by club president.  Zone/Regional meetings held in Sept, November and March.

Attendance:  100% attendance is encouraged but meetings can be made up by attending another clubs meeting or participating in a club function.

When Chartered:  Club was Chartered, January 24, 1957.
