The club was founded in 1948. In the past 68 years the club has helped supply thousands of eye glasses for those who were unable to purchase them plus paid for their exams. Also helping with supplying food for those in need in the community of Centralia Washington.

This year our club presented a $1,000 scholarship to a graduating senior of the Centralia High School.

In 1968 the club took over the project of the “Youth fishing derby” originally started by the Centralia JC’s.  Since that time thousands of our youth in the Lewis county area have had the opportunity to learn or sharpen their fishing skills.  In 2016, 299 youth were a part of this annual fishing derby.

For many years the Centralia Club has taken part in the Apple fundraising project sponsored by the Olympia Lions club. This year the Centralia Lions sold 47 forty pound boxes of Fuji apples, plus delivering 32 boxes of culls to many programs in the area that feed the needy of our community.
