We are individuals (who as a Club) have proudly served the City of Camden for more than 101 years!
The Camden Lions Club is the 1st Lions Club in NJ (formed 12/15/1920)
The Camden Lions Club was the Home Club of:
- Harold P. Nutter (International President 1951-1952; DG 1941-1942)
- Robert C. Perina (Served as District Governor 1937-1938)
- Joseph L. Dimona (Served as District Governor 1943-1944)
- George N. Vinci (Served as District Governor & as State Council Chair 1981-1982);
- Robert W. DeLambily, Jr (Served as District Governor 2003-2004)
- MaryAnn Ragone (Served as District Governor 2005-2006)
The Camden Lions Club is the Home Club of:
- Jeffrey R. Gans, Esq (International Director 2021-2023; Served as State Council Chair 2011-2012; Served as District Governor 1997-1998);
Our members are very different in many ways, but we share a core belief - our community is what we make it. That's because we help where help is needed. In short, We Serve.
