2nd week of December, Santa is schedule to visit with the children of West Baton Rouge at the Brusly Lions Club. Kids old and young alike can visit with the Jolly one and have their pictures made and enjoy a breakfast......stay tuned for more information

We are Lions and we are proud to be a part of the International Association of Lions Clubs. We exceed 1.4 million members, and part of the World's Largest Service Organization

Assisting with the Screening of Children ages 1-6 years of age, through Day Cares, Head Start Programs, Kindergarten and other facilities that allows us to come in and screen the children detecting early eye problems. From January 2016 - March 2016 we had 244 screenings with 10 referrals and had 5 retakes

We also support Red Ribbon Week within the Schools. We visit the classrooms to teach students about the importance of Red Ribbon.......Just Say No to Drugs and Strangers.

We Support Relay for Life efforts within West Baton Rouge, fighting for a cure for all types of Cancer.

During the Holidays we collect can goods and other non perishable food items for the 2 local food pantries within the Brusly / Addis are.......St John the Baptist Food Pantry and First Baptist Church Addis.

We hold our annual Chicken BBQ Dinner Fundraiser where we cook and sell over 1700 dinners. People are always waiting in line for our BBQ Dinners

We held our 1st Annual Breakfast with Santa providing our community to have pictures made with Santa, enjoy a delightful breakfast, and enjoy the festive atmosphere.

We support local Students with Scholarships to local graduates.

We encourage students in the Middle School to participate in the Annual Peace Poster Contest....where last years winner competed in State Competition and finished 2nd. As this was only our 2nd year to sponsor this Contest, we are very proud of the local winners
