COMMUNITY GARDEN CLEAN-UP - Saturday, April 29, 2023

  • Brookfield Lions and LEOs were scheduled to work together to help prepare the 106 community garden plots for the spring and summer season. Unfortunately, inclement weather all weekend washed out the clean-up. (Is that a pun?)  :-)
  • Lion Kathi Hlavac who leads the Community Garden project for the Lions will work with Lion Dori Cundari and the LEOs to hopefully have a scaled back clean-up of the garden.
  • The Community Garden is supported and managed by volunteer members of the Brookfield Lions Club in conjunction with the Town of Brookfield. It is located on the Gurski property along Route 133 in Brookfield, approximately one-quarter mile south of Route 25 (Whisconier Road).
