The 2017 Journey For Sight took place from January 16th - 21st

This annual snowmobile fundraising event for the Lions Eye Bank of Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario takes place during the third week in January. There are several legs in Manitoba that end up in Brandon, MB. Some of the riders travel about 700 kilometres during the week when they start the Journey in Thompson, MB and head south to meet up in Brandon. Riders will post photos and videos from along the trail here:

The Journey For Sight originated in Birtle, Manitoba in 1983 and has raised OVER TWO MILLION DOLLARS SINCE IT'S START!!!

Money is raised by snowmobilers who tour Manitoba collecting pledges and by selling raffle tickets to win new snowmobiles.

 

Journey For Sight raffle tickets are now available from Lions Clubs throughout Manitoba for a 2017 Ski-Doo MXZ Sport 600 E.S. or a $7000 cash prize.

Tickets are $5 each and the draw will be made on February 21st, 2017 at the Birtle Drop In Centre in Birtle, Manitoba. Sled to be picked up in Virden, MB. License #LGA-2430-RF
