For more than 73 years, the Boothbay Region Lions Club has been a vital part of the Coastal Maine community. Our members (one of whom have been here since the club was founded in 1953) come together twice a month for fellowship, good food, and a shared mission of doing good deeds.
The Lions Club supports the Boothbay region through community service, activities for local youth, and programs to support the visually impaired. Visit our Activities page for more information.
Want to become a member of the Boothbay Region Lions Club? Contact us or come by one of our meetings. We hope to see you there!
Eyeglasses, hearing aids and cellphones may be dropped off at our boxes in the small mall entryway, the Public Library or Dr. Andrews dental office on Middle Street.
Directions to Our Clubhouse:
Take Route 27 South into Boothbay Harbor until you come to the traffic light by Hannaford. Take that left onto Route 96 East Boothbay. Once you're in the Village (about 2 miles) you go up a hill - the church will be on your left. School Street is the next left after the church (before the blinking light signalling sharp turn). Municipal parking is inbetween these 2 streets. The East Boothbay Fire Station is on 2 School St. but there is no on street parking - just a short walk from municipal parking to the FD.
Lions Clubs International is the world's largest service club organization with more than 1.4 million members in approximately 46,000 clubs in more than 200 countries and geographical areas around the world.
