In 2018, the Metropolitan Learning Center Leo Club no longer had a sponsor.  We are willing to resurrect this club when we attract a club member who has a dedicated interest in providing guidance to the youth at that location or has an interest in heading up a community-wide club.

The Metropolitan Learning Center Leo Club and Bloomfield Lions Club raised monies for the DON JOSE ACEVEDO ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, one of the numerous schools in the province of Capiz which was heavily devastated by the wrath of Typhoon Haiyan (Yolanda), especially its mini library wherein almost all books, wooden tables and chairs, as well as bookshelves were shattered.

We worked with the Capiz Lions Club and Capiz Leo Clubs to transfer the donations to them and these October 2014 photos depict their expression of sincere gratitude for the generosity shown through our donations.
