LIONS CLUB OF BANGALORE SUNDARNAGAR

Our Brief History :

Our club was Chartered on 17th April 1991 and was sponsored by Lions Club of Bangalore North. Our Charter President Lion C.A.Venketraman along with Lion T.C.Gopalakrishnan and Lion P.Sekar has guided the club members and club leaders from that day till date.

The club salutes these people for their dedication and involvement to the ethics and values as laid down by the Founders of this Lions Movement.

Activities of the club :

Since its inception, Lions Club of Bangalore Sundarnagar has been rendering notable and value added service to the rural areas as well as to the urban areas of Bengaluru. Voluntary blood donation camps, sight first programs, health and education related activities, quest programs, youth related programs are some of the club's focus of interest.

Apart from these regular activities, the club has also formed a trust titled SUNDARNAGAR LIONS SERVICE TRUST abbreviated as SUNLIST.  The focus of this trust is two major fields -- (1) Support those students who have a good academic record but are economically behind ; (2) Provide medical infrastructure which will benefit the masses wherever the need may be found.
