Message in a bottle

The Lions Message In a Bottle scheme is a simple idea designed to encourage people to keep their personal and medical details on a standard form and in a common location - the Fridge. Whilst it is focused on the more vulnerable people in our community, anyone can have an accident at home, so this scheme can benefit anyone, including you.

As a minimum it will save the Emergency Services valuable time identifying you and your emergency contacts. By telling whether you have special medication or allergies or not, it is a potential lifesaver and provides peace of mind to users and their friends and families.

"100 Club"

We have a very successful "100 Club" where a number is purchased between 1 and 100. Each number costs £24/year and there are prizes of £50, £20 and £10 each month. In December there is an additional Bonus prize of £100.

This project has now been running for 4 years and is proving very successful.

The annual proceeds are donated to a chosen charity.

The Charity for 2013 "Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance Service".

Membership for 2013 are now being accepted.

Life Skills.

Our club are very keen to promote "Life Skills" in the schools within our local area.

This is a wonderful initiative previously administered by the charity "Tacade" to help children through any difficult aspects of life that they may be confronted with.

Also on the above site can be seen this year's winning poster, which is well worth taking a look at and worthy of progressing to the National Final.

There are rules to the competition and in particular the first rule must be observed "Artwork must be no smaller than 13 inches by 20 inches and no larger than 20 inches by 24 inches".
