The Peace Poster Competition

The Peace Poster Competition was created in 1988 by Lions Club International and gives young people throughout the world a chance to not only think about World Peace, but to express themselves in a creative way.  Over 4 million children from nearly 100 countries have so far participated in this competition.

Each year a different theme is selected and young people create a poster that reflects World Peace, as seen through their own eyes.  This Competition is open to Children of 11; 12 & 13 years of age on 15th November 2016.  They may use a variety of mediums including charcoal, crayon, pencil and paint to express the theme.  Lion Clubs proudly sponsor this Competition for children in local schools and youth groups within their own Communities.
