LIONS CLUB OF ALLEPPEY

Half a century back when the idea of a Lions Club in Alleppey arose, those who nourished the idea and gave a practical proposition were the then leaders of trade and industry in Alleppey, with the late Veeraiah Reddiar, the doyen of public life at the helm.  Thanks to their vision and foresight, the first team that assembled, drew all talents of the locality and that accounts for the splendid record of service they set, the Golden Jubilee of which we are celebrating during 2010 – 2011.
