Three Lakes is a small community nestled amidst the 650,000-acre Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest, known for its crystal clear lakes, abundant fisheries, trophy deer and an array of wildlife species.
Downtown Three Lakes provides the old-fashioned charm of a storefront community. Its main street is lit by old world style lampposts and lined with unique gift shops, restaurants and other small businesses. Fall, winter, spring or summer; every season offers unique recreational opportunities and spectacular settings.

Three Lakes Lions Club!
We Serve. We are there 365 days a year for the 2,500 year-round full-time residents in Three Lakes plus another 5,000 summer-seasonal part-time neighbors. Lions tackle tough problems related to diseases of the eye such as blindness and glaucoma, plus diabetes/high blood pressure/heart disease awareness and prevention. Also addressing hunger and environmental problems.
Good Neighbors. Lions members, women and men alike - provide immediate and sustained relief in time of disaster and offer both short and long-term assistance to those in need. Lions provide eye exams and eyeglasses to individuals and families who otherwise could not afford eye care, including vision screening for elementary age childern at Three Lakes school. Lions also collect and recycle eyeglasses for disribution in developing countries and treat millions of people to prevent river blindness.
Community Leaders. The officers, directors and members of the Three Lakes Lions celebrate their 71th Anniversary in 2023. For seven decades, whenever there has been a need at home or around the world, the members of the Three Lakes Lions have been there to help their neighbors in Three Lakes.
