Lion Vivien Marcus - President
Although Viv has only recently become a member, she has long been involved in Lions activities though her partner, Ezzy. Now retired, she was a health care professional for many years. She is proving to be a lynchpin at our club.
Past President Lion Andrew D Clarkson - Tailtwister
Lion Andrew joined the Lions in 2002 when he became a member of Bury Lions Club. A professional driving instructor since 1981, he served as Tail Twister, Lion Tamer, Activities Chair, Carnival Co-ordinator, Web-Master, 2nd Vice and 1st Vice, before eventually serving as Club President in 2006/7. He has also served the District as Leadership Development Officer. In 2008, Andrew transferred to R&W LC when it became clear the club was about to fold. In 2009, he became R&W Club President, serving for 2 years and has steered the club back to better health and success. He has also served the District again as Zone Chairman and on Leadership Development Team.
Lion Rashid Bhana
For a few years Rashid was invaluable a the Treasurer but workload has prevented him from continuing that role.
Past President Lion Tony Greenhalgh
Tony has stood as President for many years and is still active at club meeting and events.
Past President Lion Ezzy Marcus
Former President with neighbours Prestwich and Bury, Ezzy served as President in 2011/12 at his third club. Well known amongst lions the world over, Ezzy is full of ideas and keeps us all on our toes.
Lion Terry Clarke, Secretary
Terry joined in 2009 and we immediately employed him as Tailtwister, a role at which he excelled (much to my expense) he now serves ably as Club Secretary.
Lion Harvey Hurwitch
Another former lion back into the pride, Harvey was a former member of Prestwich LC, he also is involved with the Prestich Carnival.
Lion Monty Adler
A former Mayor and member of Bury LC,
Lions Jacqi Adler
Lion Bryan Holland, Welfare Officer
Bryan, transferred from Bury Lions in 2011, he acts a Club Welfare Officer.
