Hardin Lions Club

The Lions Club of Hardin, Texas, has been around since May of 1956. Though at times our numbers have been low, we are hearty souls. Our membership now has 24 beautiful people and for a town with a population of only about 750, that’s not bad! But there is always room for more, so come join the fun, eat the food, and experience the great joy of helping others in our community.

    Birthday Bash for Dorothy Nettles!

A birthday celebration will be held for Dorothy Nettles, one of Hardin Lions Club oldest, dearest, and hard working members. She would like for everyone to help celebrate her  77th birthday on Saturday, Sept. 4th, at the First Baptist Church Gym in Dayton from 1-5 p.m. There will be a Blood Drive and you can register to be a  Bone Marrow or Organ Donor at this time. There will be Gospel Music as well as a Massage Therpist available for 5 to 10 minute massages. Non-perishable food items will be collected for local food pantries. At the end of the drive there will be a drawing for a very nice door prize - a large generator. To be eligible for your name to be put into the drawing and you MUST donate blood that day. If you are not eligible to donate blood then you MUST register for either bone marrow or organ donation.
