The Waynesboro Lions Club wrapped up the month of May last week. They started their month with a visit from Franklin County Sheriff, Ben Sites. Ben talked to the club about the Sheriff’s Office, what they do, and how we can help them better serve our community. Thank you, Sheriff Sites for stopping by!

We finished out the month of May at the Waynesboro High School scholarship presentation ceremony. Lion Ashley was on hand to present our scholarships to our chosen winner. Thank you to our scholarship committee for your hard work!

Don’t forget! We have another barbeque fundraiser coming up on August 11th! Tickets will be coming soon. The meals will be provided by Fat Russ’ BBQ again and will be a pulled pork sandwich, mac & cheese, coleslaw, and a honey corn muffin. Get ready to sell some tickets
