Brisbane Macgregor Lions Club member Past District Governor Ross Gibbins was guest speaker at the club’s dinner meeting on Thursday 30 May. Having with Lion Olly, just returned to Australia, he spoke about his 12 months working for Thiess Mining managing a team of engineering and related professionals and consultants undertaking the re-opening and expansion of the Copper Cliff Cu-Ni Mine at Greater Sadbury, Ontario, Canada. Ross also spoke about the Sudbury Lions Club which in September celebrates it’s 100 year anniversary.
